The family was raised and born in Pennsylvania Molly began working professionally at age thirteen at Philadelphia's Prince Music Theater in a production of The Snow Queen. She portrayed Little Red Ridinghood shortly after her appearance in Arden Theater s Into the Woods production in which she won the Barrymore Award nomination. She went on to reprise the role in her Broadway debut at 15 in Into the Woods on Broadway in 2002. She was also nominated for a Drama League Award. Molly was also in the cast of the Broadway revival Fiddler on the Roof, in 2004. Molly then went to Princeton University where she was part of the Triangle Club and graduated in 2008 with the degree of a B.A. in Religious Studies. In college, she began her acting career in Disney College Road Trip playing Wendy Greenhut. Molly has worked on TV shows, such as Royal Pains, and an HBO Pilot The Wonderful Maladys. Molly was a part of numerous regional productions, including The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee by Barrington Stage Company in 2008 as well as the North Shore Music Theatre's 2010 production The Diary of Anne Frank in the Westport Country Playhouse in which Molly was Anne. Molly's most notable role is that of Paranormal Activity 2 (2010) where she plays Ali the teenage daughter. She also starred in Last Man Standing (an ABC comedy written and starring Tim Allen) and Jack Burditt's The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, which was held in 2008.
